PuTTY Profile Breadcrumb
PuTTY stores session details for SSH connections, including IP addresses and port numbers, but typically does not store passwords. We chose not to include a password in this breadcrumb, as it is uncommon in PuTTY usage and might raise suspicion for attackers. However, covering this surface is still crucial, as SSH remains a widely targeted protocol.
Installation
Firstly, to install this PuTTY profile, you must double click on the generated file and agree to allow changes to the Registry Editor.
Now select 'Yes' to agree adding the information to your registry.
Here we can see the importation was successful.
Finally, you can check PuTTY or Registry Editor and see that the installation was successful for a fake ssh stored session towards your Trapster device.
