Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Breadcrumb

This breadcrumb creates a RDP entry that directs attackers to your Trapster device. While it doesn’t include a fake password as it would not be realistic, it helps divert potential intruders for monitoring.

Usage

  1. Download the generated RDP breadcrumb file.
  2. Open or place the RDP file on the system where you want to detect unauthorized access.
  3. Leave the entry in a location attackers are likely to find, such as:
    • Desktop
    • Documents folder
    • Shared or administrative directories

When an attacker attempts to connect using the RDP entry, Trapster will immediately detect the connection attempt and notify you.
